Steps
- Clean the puja area and place an image or idol of Goddess Lakshmi.
- Light a diya and offer fresh flowers.
- Apply kumkum and offer rice (akshata) at the feet of the deity.
- Recite the Lakshmi mantra or chalisa.
- Offer sweets as prasad and conclude with aarti.
