The Modhera Sun Temple, located in the village of Modhera in Gujarat, India, is a stunning example of ancient Indian architecture dedicated to the solar deity Surya. Situated on the banks of the river Pushpavati, this temple complex features three main components: the Gūḍhamanḍapa (shrine hall), the Sabhamanḍapa (assembly hall), and the Kunḍa (reservoir).

The intricately carved exteriors and beautifully decorated pillars showcase the artistry of the 11th century. Although no longer used for worship, the temple remains a significant cultural landmark and is preserved as a protected monument by the Archaeological Survey of India.
