About This Temple

One of the Chota Char Dham, dedicated to the goddess Yamuna at the source of the Yamuna river, reached by trekking near the Bandarpunch peaks.

The original temple was built by Maharaja Pratap Shah of Tehri Garhwal; the current structure was rebuilt after damage from natural elements.
