ચોટા ચાર ધામમાંના એક, જ્યાં ભાગીરથિ નદી (ગંગાના સ્ત્રોત પ્રવાહ) ગંગોત્રી હિમનદમાંથી ઉતરે છે તે સ્થળને દર્શાવે છે.
History & Significance
18મી સદીના પ્રારંભમાં ગોરખા જનરલ અમર સિંહ ઠાપા દ્વારા બનાવવામાં આવ્યું; ખાસ કરીને ઉનાળાના મહિનાઓમાં એક મહત્વપૂર્ણ યાત્રા સ્થળ.
