अहं ब्रह्मास्मि।
ನಾನು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ — ಅಮಿತ, ವಿಭಜಿತ ಚೇತನ. ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆತ್ಮವು ದೇವರ ಒಂದು ತುಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ದೇವರೇ, ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಭಾವವನ್ನು ಮರೆತಿದೆ. — ಬ್ರಿಹದಾರಣ್ಯಕ ಉಪನಿಷತ್ 1.4.10
