ಇದು 20 ದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ 10,000 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು 2,000 ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು 427 CEರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂದಿತ್ತು. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ 9-ಮಟ್ಟದ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯವಿತ್ತು. ನಲಂದಾ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನವಾಗಿರುವಾಗ ಆಕ್ಸ್ಫರ್ಡ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು 600 ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾಯಿತು.
