धर्म हिंसा तथैव च॥
ಹಿಂಸೆಯಿಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದು ಅತ್ಯುಚ್ಚ ಗುಣ ಮತ್ತು ಅತ್ಯುಚ್ಚ ಆತ್ಮ-ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಣ ನಿರ್ವಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ಚಿಂತನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶಬ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. - ಮಹಾಭಾರತ
