ಒಬ್ಬನು ಸಮಾನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರು ಮತ್ತು ಶತ್ರು, ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಪರದೇಶಿ, ತಟಸ್ಥ ಪಕ್ಷ, ಸಂತ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಪಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾನೆ —

सुहृन्मित्रार्युदासीनमध्यस्थद्वेष्यबन्धुषु।
साधुष्वपि च पापेषु समबुद्धिर्विशिष्यते॥
