परोपकाराय दुहन्ति गावः परोपकारार्थमिदं शरीरम्॥
மரங்கள் மற்றவர்களுக்காக பழங்களை தருகின்றன. ஆறுகள் மற்றவர்களுக்காக ஓடுகின்றன. மாடுகள் மற்றவர்களுக்காக பால் தருகின்றன. இந்த உடலும் மற்றவர்களின் சேவைக்காகவே உள்ளது. — சுபாஷிதம்
